On Tuesday, the Chesapeake Police Department and the Norfolk FBI Office collaborated on an operation in response to a robbery at an illegal narcotics setup on Wintercress Way.
Following the incident that resulted in the deaths of two men, the two agencies initiated a thorough investigation, ultimately leading to the successful federal prosecution of multiple individuals connected to the crime.
The joint effort, which involved local Chesapeake Police investigators from various sections along with Federal Agents, was aimed at eliminating the organized narcotics activity that had been operating in the community.
