Nearly $100k Worth of Silver Bars Stolen from UPS Center in New York

East Farmingdale, NY—A man used false identification to steal a package containing approximately $91,000 worth of silver bars from the UPS customer service center on Smith St.

The incident occurred on Tuesday at around 9:20 a.m., with the suspect fleeing the scene in a dark-colored vehicle.

Crime Stoppers has announced a reward of up to $5000 for any information that could lead to the suspect’s arrest. Anyone with relevant information is urged to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-220-TIPS.
