Livingston, LA – A Louisiana man, Glenn Sullivan, Sr., 54, has been sentenced to 50 years in prison for second-degree rape, following charges that he raped and impregnated a 14-year-old girl. Sullivan chose to undergo physical castration as part of his sentence.
District Attorney Scott M. Perrilloux confirmed the case started in July 2022 when the victim reported several instances of rape by Sullivan. DNA tests validated his paternity of the child. It was noted that Sullivan had threatened the victim and her family to keep her silent.

Sullivan chose the path of physical castration, permitted in Louisiana for some sex crimes under a 2008 law, along with an assigned doctor from the public safety department.
