STATEN ISLAND, NY – The New York Lottery has confirmed the sale of a $50,000 third-prize-winning Powerball ticket at the 7-Eleven on 2084 Victory Blvd. This ticket matched significant numbers in the Powerball drawing on Sunday.
Powerball players choose numbers from two different pools: one through 69 for the white balls, and one through 26 for the red Power Ball. The Powerball drawings, which offer players a chance to win substantial prizes, are held three times a week—every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
