Port Deposit, MD – The Maryland Natural Resources Police are searching for a missing boater in the Susquehanna River after a report that three people were swept from their partially submerged vessel on Monday evening while fishing. Two of them made it to shore, but the third individual, a 51-year-old male wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans, remains missing.
According to the press release, the U.S. Coast Guard, Maryland State Police, Harford County Fire and EMS, and Harford County Sheriff’s Office have joined the search efforts to find the missing boater near Port Deposit. Boaters are advised to avoid the area due to dangerous conditions and the ongoing search operation taking place.
