NYPD Seeks Public Help to Identify Suspects in Manhattan Robbery Series

NEW YORK, NY — The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying and locating suspects involved in a series of robberies at Eleganza 66, located at 3776 Broadway within the 33rd Precinct.

The first incident occurred on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at approximately 1:20 PM, when two unidentified males entered the store. They threatened a 19-year-old female employee and demanded marijuana. One suspect, referred to as Individual #1, simulated possessing a firearm inside a book bag, and they subsequently fled with merchandise valued at $400.

The second occurrence, an attempted robbery, took place on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at around 9:40 PM. The same suspect from the first incident entered the store alone, threatened a 30-year-old male employee, and partially displayed a firearm handle from his book bag before fleeing the scene. No injuries were reported in either incident.

Individual #1 is described as a male with a dark complexion, aged between 20 to 30 years, approximately 5’10” tall, of medium build, and sporting a goatee. Individual #2 is also a male with a dark complexion, aged between 20 to 30 years, about 5’8″ tall, and of slim build.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward to help in the ongoing investigation.
