The weekend weather forecast for the Baltimore and DC Metro area begins with a sunny day today, with temperatures reaching a high near 84 degrees. Winds from the west will blow at 7 to 11 mph. Tonight, the region will see a chance of showers and thunderstorms, primarily between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. The sky will be mostly cloudy with a low around 65 degrees, and the northwest wind will slow to around 5 mph before becoming calm. The chance of precipitation tonight is 30%.

Tuesday will bring a slight chance of showers after noon under mostly sunny skies, with a high near 83 degrees. Winds will be light from the north at 3 to 6 mph, and the chance of rain is pegged at 20%. Tuesday night will remain mostly clear with a low around 66 degrees and calm winds.

The weather will continue to warm up on Wednesday, with sunny skies and a high near 88 degrees. Winds will remain calm, turning southwest around 5 mph in the afternoon. Wednesday night is expected to be mostly clear with a low around 71 degrees.

Thursday will heat up significantly, with sunny skies and a high near 95 degrees. The night will remain mostly clear with temperatures dropping to a low around 77 degrees. The heat will peak on Friday, with sunny conditions and a scorching high near 99 degrees. Friday night will see partly cloudy skies with a low around 74 degrees.

The weekend will maintain the sunny trend with a high of 91 degrees on Saturday. Saturday night will be mostly clear with temperatures dipping to a low around 71 degrees.
