NEWARK, NJ – Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé is requesting public assistance in locating 22-year-old Sa Jadah N.M. Hodge, who is wanted for questioning related to a robbery that took place on Monday, May 20, 2024.
The incident occurred at around 5:54 AM in the 80 block of 16th Avenue. According to reports, the victim was at a bus stop when two Black males exited a white 2017 Infiniti Q70 on Littleton Avenue and demanded his personal belongings. The victim surrendered his bookbag, which contained two cell phones, debit and credit cards, and other personal items. The suspects then fled the scene in the Infiniti, which was last seen traveling eastbound on 16th Avenue.
The vehicle, registered to Sa Jadah May Hodge and bearing a temporary license plate C070959, was later seen on surveillance footage in the 100 block of 7th Street. Hodge, who uses several aliases including Jadah May Hodge, Jada Hodge, and Sa Jadah Hodge, is described as 5’4″ with a medium brown complexion.
Authorities have flagged the vehicle as involved in a felony and are actively seeking information regarding Hodge’s whereabouts. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Newark Police Department as the investigation continues.
