BRONX, NY – A 34-year-old woman was the victim of a purse snatching on Thursday morning. The incident occurred at 9:15 a.m. in front of 1160 Beach Avenue. An unidentified individual approached the woman from behind, grabbed her purse, and fled the scene on foot towards Beach Avenue and Watson Avenue.
During the struggle to keep her purse, the victim sustained bruises and scratches to her hands. Police are investigating the robbery and are asking anyone with information to come forward to assist in locating the suspect.
