NEW YORK, NY—A distressing incident occurred on Friday, June 21, at approximately 6:08 AM near 3427 3rd Avenue, where a 42-year-old male reported his dog stolen. The victim had tied his Pit-Bull, named “Precious,” to a fence before entering a nearby store.

During this time, an unidentified individual seized the opportunity to take the dog and was last seen fleeing southbound on 3rd Avenue.

The suspect is described as a male with a light complexion, medium build, and a close-cut long beard. He was wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts, and black sneakers at the time of the incident. Thankfully, there were no injuries reported, but the victim has lost his pet.

The NYPD is investigating the theft and is asking anyone with information to come forward to assist in recovering “Precious” and apprehending the suspect.
