South Jersey Police Seek Suspects in Pizzeria Counterfeit Currency Case

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Gloucester Township Police are seeking assistance in identifying suspects who used counterfeit currency at a local pizza shop.

The incident occurred at Gallery Pizza on Erial Road. The suspects arrived in a gray minivan with New Jersey tags. The first suspect, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, purchased a slice of pizza with a counterfeit twenty-dollar bill, receiving $17.40 in change before leaving. Shortly after, the second suspect, dressed in a white shirt, attempted the same but was denied when staff recognized the counterfeit bills.
