Cherry Hill, NJ — Earlier this morning, the Cherry Hill Fire Department (CHFD) responded to a motor vehicle accident at the Walt Whitman Service Area on the New Jersey Turnpike, involving a vehicle that had struck two parked trucks, resulting in serious intrusion and trapping two occupants inside.

CHFD units, including Squad Co. 13, Rescue Ladder 13, Engine 1342, and Battalion 13, arrived on the scene along with Virtua Advanced Life Support (ALS). The responders found the vehicle with significant damage and an active fuel leak.
