Man Grazed by Bullet While Walking Dog in Pittsburgh’s Sheraden Neighborhood

PITTSBURGH, PA — A late-night shooting incident in Pittsburgh’s Sheraden neighborhood has left a man hospitalized after a bullet near his right eye grazed him. The shooting occurred just before 1:30 a.m. at the intersection of Narcissus Avenue and Bergman Street, prompted by a ShotSpotter alert.

Upon arrival, Pittsburgh police located the victim on nearby Hillsboro Street. He reported that while walking his dog, an individual exited a vehicle, fired shots, and then sped away in the same car. Public Safety officials stated that the man was taken to the hospital in stable condition, conscious and alert throughout the ordeal.

Investigators at the scene discovered bullet damage to nearby homes and at least one vehicle, along with shell casings, as they worked to piece together the details of the incident.
