Police Seek Suspect in Assault in East Harlem

NEW YORK, NY—A violent attack was reported in East Harlem on Saturday, where an unidentified man assaulted a 27-year-old woman.

The attack occurred around 5:20 PM at the intersection of East 116 Street and Third Avenue. According to reports, the assailant approached the victim from behind and committed an indecent act on her dress before fleeing the scene.

The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion and dreadlocks. He was last seen dressed in tan pants and a black shirt, carrying a backpack adorned with a Puerto Rican flag.

The police are actively seeking the individual and have asked for the public’s assistance in identifying him. No physical injuries were reported in the incident.
