Brooklyn Man Arrested and Charged in Fatal Stabbing Incident

BROOKLYN, NY — The New York City Police Department has arrested and charged a 24-year-old man in connection with a fatal stabbing that occurred in the 63rd Precinct. The arrest took place on Saturday at 2:17 a.m.

The incident, which happened on Wednesday, August 7, at approximately 8:01 a.m., began when police responded to a 911 call reporting an assault in progress.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a 45-year-old male victim with multiple stab wounds to the head and abdomen. The victim was transported by EMS to Brookdale University Hospital in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The suspect, identified has been charged with second-degree murder and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

The deceased has been identified as Thomas Nathaniel, a 45-year-old male who lived in Brooklyn.
