Search Underway for Missing 13-Year-Old Girl in D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Police are seeking public assistance in locating 13-year-old Merkayla Butler, who was last seen in the unit block of Galveston Street in Southwest D.C. on Tuesday.

Merkayla Butler is described as a Black female, standing 5’4″ tall, weighing 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, a pink top, blue jeans, and white and blue Nike shoes.
