Baltimore Police Investigate Walk-In Shooting Victim from Southeast Baltimore

BALTIMORE, Md. — A 31-year-old man was treated for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds after walking into a local hospital late Saturday night, according to Baltimore Police.

The incident occurred on August 24, 2024, at approximately 11:42 p.m., when officers were called to the hospital to investigate the report of a shooting victim. Upon their arrival, officers observed the man suffering from gunshot wounds.

A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot in the unit block of North Conkling Street, located in Southeast Baltimore. Detectives from the Southeast District have taken over the investigation to determine the events leading up to the shooting.
