37-Year-Old Man Charged for Deadly Apartment Complex Shooting in Gaithersburg

by Breaking Local News Report

GAITHERSBURG, Md. — Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man in a Gaithersburg apartment complex. Authorities identified the victim as 37-year-old Antoine Lavale Parker.

Officers responded to a call at 11:24 a.m. Sunday on the 18500 block of Boysenberry Drive, where Parker was found inside his apartment suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police had previously been called to the area earlier that morning after reports of gunshots, but no evidence of a crime was found at that time. An autopsy conducted Monday confirmed Parker’s death was a homicide.

The Montgomery County Department of Police is asking anyone with information to contact Crime Solvers of Montgomery County.
