Teen robbed at knifepoint on Castle Hill Avenue in the Bronx

BRONX, N.Y. — A 17-year-old male was robbed at knifepoint Tuesday night after two unidentified males stole his cell phone in the Castle Hill section of the Bronx, police said.

The incident occurred around 10 p.m. on August 27 when one of the two individuals snatched the victim’s phone. The teenager chased the suspects, at which point one of them displayed a knife and threatened him.

The suspects were last seen fleeing northbound on Castle Hill Avenue. The victim reported no injuries.

The first suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, and black sneakers, and carrying a multi-colored backpack. The second suspect, also described as having a dark complexion, was last seen wearing a multi-colored sweatshirt, dark shorts, and dark shoes, carrying a cross-body bag.

Police are investigating the incident.
