MANHATTAN, N.Y. — An off-duty New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) employee was arrested on Thursday, September 26, in Manhattan, according to authorities. The suspect, identified as Donald Fontana, 56, was taken into custody at approximately 7:20 p.m. within the confines of the 1st Precinct/Transit District 2.

Fontana has been charged with assault in the third degree. No further details about the incident have been released.
