16-Year-Old Arrested for Handgun Possession

Baltimore, MD- A 16-year-old male was arrested for possessing a handgun early Wednesday morning in Baltimore’s Central District. Officers on routine patrol witnessed the individual discarding the weapon under a vehicle in the 400 block of S. Bond Street shortly after midnight at approximately 12:12 a.m.

Upon noticing the officers, the teenager fled on foot. Officers gave chase and managed to apprehend him after a brief pursuit.

After his arrest, the suspect was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility. Authorities have charged him in connection to the incident.
