NEWBURGH, NY — A single top-prize-winning ticket worth $18,531.50 was sold in Newburgh for the November 21 Take 5 Midday drawing, the New York Lottery announced Thursday.
The winning ticket was purchased at Smokes 4 Less, located at 59 North Plank Road in Newburgh. The lucky ticket matched all five numbers drawn, securing the game’s top prize.
Take 5 draws are held twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., with numbers selected from a field of one through 39. Winners have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.
Lottery officials recommend that winners sign the back of their tickets and contact the New York Lottery to begin the claim process.
