SMYRNA, Del. — Delaware Natural Resources Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an illegal dumping incident at the Delaware Electric Cooperative Jones Substation in Smyrna. The incident occurred recently, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
According to a post on the Delaware Natural Resources Police’s official Facebook page, the suspect pulled into the substation and left debris on the property. An image of the individual, captured during the incident, was shared by police in an effort to aid in the investigation.

The illegal dumping took place on property owned by the Delaware Electric Cooperative, a utility serving rural communities in the state. Authorities have not disclosed the type of debris left at the site or any potential damages caused by the incident.
