NEW YORK, NY — An off-duty New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) employee was arrested Tuesday evening in Brooklyn and charged with multiple offenses, police said.
Tanisha Simpson, 40, was taken into custody at 6:39 p.m. in the confines of the 79th Precinct. Simpson faces charges including reckless endangerment in the first and second degrees, assault, and leaving the scene of a collision with injuries and property damage.
Details of the alleged incident that led to Simpson’s arrest have not been disclosed. It remains unclear if the collision involved other vehicles, pedestrians, or NYCHA property.
