VOORHEES, N.J. — A stray dog discovered roaming near Route 561 and Burnt Mill Road in Cherry Hill Township has been turned over to the Voorhees Police Department, according to a social media post by the department.
The dog, whose owner has not yet been identified, will be transported to the Animal Orphanage on Cooper Road in Voorhees. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the dog or its owner to contact the shelter at 856-627-9111.
The post, shared by the Voorhees Police Department alongside the Cherry Hill Police Department, included an image of the dog but provided no additional details about the animal’s breed, size, or condition.
Local residents have been asked to spread the word to help reunite the dog with its owner. The Animal Orphanage in Voorhees is known for working with lost and stray animals to facilitate their return to their families.
Anyone with knowledge of the dog’s origin is encouraged to reach out promptly to aid in the reunion process.
