Police investigate shooting incident in Glen Burnie; no injuries reported

GLEN BURNIE, MD — Authorities are investigating a shooting incident on Margate Drive in Glen Burnie that caused property damage but left no injuries, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

The incident occurred on December 27, 2024, around 8:00 p.m., when a driver traveling on Margate Road between East Furnace Branch Road and Westfield Road reported that their vehicle’s rear window shattered. Responding officers found no projectiles inside the car but discovered several spent shell casings on the roadway in the 100 block of Margate Road.

The following day, on December 28, residents reported damage to two parked vehicles and a house in the same area, consistent with gunfire. Police have not disclosed any suspect information at this time.
