Boston police seek suspect in fatal Roxbury hit-and-run

BOSTON, Mass. — Police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run that left a 20-year-old woman dead and another injured on Washington Street in Roxbury on Saturday night.

Officers from District D-4 responded to the scene at approximately 8:29 p.m. and located two victims: a 20-year-old female suffering from life-threatening injuries and a 23-year-old female with minor injuries. Both were transported to a local hospital, where the 20-year-old victim was later pronounced dead.

The Boston Police Department’s Fatal Accident Reconstruction Team and Homicide Detectives are actively investigating the incident and are seeking to locate the suspect vehicle. The vehicle is described as a dark-colored 2021–2023 Mercedes small SUV with damage to the front grille and front light and missing its right-side mirror.
