SEVERN, Md. — A reported stabbing at Meade High School has left one student hospitalized and prompted a lockdown of the school on Friday afternoon. Anne Arundel County Police are leading the investigation, with support from Army CID, Fort Meade Police, and the Directorate of Emergency Services (DES).
The incident occurred earlier in the day, and the injured student has been transported to a hospital for treatment. Police have not provided details about the student’s condition or the circumstances surrounding the incident.
All students remain on lockdown in their classrooms as a precaution, and no one is currently allowed to enter or leave the school. Authorities have urged parents not to go to the school to pick up their children.
