Lancaster police investigate fatal stabbing as domestic incident

by Breaking Local News Report

LANCASTER, Pa. — Authorities are continuing to investigate the fatal stabbing of a 40-year-old man last week in Lancaster, which police believe stemmed from a domestic incident.

The Lancaster City Bureau of Police responded to the first block of West Farnum Street on January 24, where they found Matthew Hill with stab wounds. He was later pronounced dead.

Preliminary findings suggest the stabbing was related to a domestic dispute, though officials have not released further details about the individuals involved.

Police stated there is no ongoing threat to the public but emphasized that the investigation remains active.

Authorities have not announced any arrests or charges as they continue to examine the circumstances surrounding Hill’s death.
