Man shot twice in both legs after argument in the Bronx, suspect at large

BRONX, N.Y. — A 34-year-old man was shot multiple times in the Bronx late Thursday night following a verbal dispute, police said.

The incident occurred at approximately 10:10 p.m. when the victim got into an argument with an unidentified individual. The dispute escalated, and the suspect shot the victim twice in each leg before fleeing the scene to an unknown location.

The victim’s condition was not immediately released, and authorities have not disclosed whether he was transported to a hospital.

Police described the suspect as a male with a dark complexion, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and 165 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark long-sleeved shirt, dark pants, and black shoes.

The NYPD is investigating the shooting and has not announced any arrests.
