EAST ELMHURST, N.Y. — A New York Lottery player won $34,832.50 after purchasing a top-prize TAKE 5 ticket for the Feb. 8 evening drawing.
The winning ticket was sold at 7-Eleven, located at 87-16 Astoria Boulevard in East Elmhurst. TAKE 5 drawings are held twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., with numbers drawn from a field of one through 39.
Lottery winners have up to one year from the draw date to claim their prize. The New York Lottery, which contributes billions annually to support education, continues to create top-prize winners across the state.
