A 47-year-old man is recovering after being shot early Tuesday in Northwest Baltimore, prompting a police investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

At approximately 12:44 a.m., Northwest District patrol officers were called to an area hospital after receiving a report of a walk-in shooting victim. Upon arrival, they found the man suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
