Bronx teen reported missing after leaving home Thursday morning

BRONX, NY — The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 14-year-old Jose Santiago Perez, who was reported missing after leaving his Bronx residence early Thursday morning.

According to police, Perez was last seen on May 8 at approximately 6:30 a.m. leaving his home at 1055 University Avenue. He has not been seen since.

Perez is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing around 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, and white sneakers.

The NYPD has not indicated any suspicious circumstances but continues to actively investigate and search for the missing teen.

Anyone with information about Jose Santiago Perez’s whereabouts is urged to contact the NYPD or visit their nearest precinct.
