BALTIMORE — Three juveniles were arrested Friday after crashing a stolen vehicle in northeast Baltimore and fleeing into a wooded area, according to the Baltimore Police Department.

The vehicle had been reported stolen out of Baltimore County. Officers from the Northeast District located it in traffic near Perring Parkway and McLean Boulevard around May 16.

Police say the suspects crashed in the 5700 block of Perring Parkway and fled on foot. Officers requested aerial support from the department’s Foxtrot unit.

The aviation team located the suspects hiding under trees and bushes nearby. Ground units were then directed to their location and made the arrests.

Aerial unit aids in locating suspects

Officers arrested a 14-year-old male and two 15-year-old males at the scene. Their identities have not been released due to their ages.

All three juveniles were transported to the Juvenile Justice Center, where they were processed and charged in connection with the stolen vehicle.

The investigation into the vehicle theft remains active. No injuries were reported during the pursuit or arrests.
