Man walks into hospital with critical gunshot wounds after Baltimore shooting

Baltimore, MD — A man arrived at a hospital with multiple gunshot wounds Tuesday evening, revealing a shooting that unfolded moments earlier on a West Baltimore street and is now under active investigation.

The incident was reported around 5:20 p.m. on March 30, 2026, when officers responded to a local hospital for a walk-in victim seeking emergency treatment.

Upon arrival, officers located a 34-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. He was listed in critical condition.

Preliminary findings indicate the shooting occurred in the 3100 block of Oakford Avenue before the victim made his way to the hospital.

Detectives assigned to the Northwest District Shooting unit responded to the scene and have taken over the investigation. No suspect information has been released.

Authorities are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting and are asking for the public’s help.
