Baltimore man shot to death in late-night street attack

BALTIMORE, Md. — A 37-year-old man was fatally shot Monday night in Northwest Baltimore, police said.

Officers were called to the 4900 block of Reisterstown Road at approximately 9:56 p.m. for a report of gunfire. Upon arrival, patrol units found the victim alert and responsive but suffering from gunshot wounds.

Medics transported him to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries, according to authorities.

The victim’s identity has not been released. No arrests have been announced, and a motive has not been disclosed.

The case remains under active investigation by Baltimore Police homicide detectives.
