Cincinnati woman cashes big with $1 million VIP scratch-off

CINCINNATI, Ohio — A trip to the White Oaks Marathon on Cheviot Road turned into a million-dollar moment for one Ohio Lottery player who claimed a $1-million annuity top prize from the $50 VIP Millions scratch-off game.

The winner, who remains anonymous, selected the $500,000 cash option and will receive approximately $360,000 after federal and state tax withholdings, according to lottery officials.

The winning ticket was purchased at White Oaks Marathon, located at 6050 Cheviot Road in Cincinnati. The retailer will receive a $10,000 sales bonus for selling the top prize-winning ticket.

The winner said she plans to use a portion of her windfall on home renovations and invest the rest. The VIP Millions game has overall odds of 1 in 4.02 and still features 35 remaining top prizes.

VIP Millions continues to deliver big payouts across Ohio

The $50 scratch-off is among the Ohio Lottery’s highest-paying games and continues to attract players across the state. With multiple high-tier prizes still available, it remains a popular choice among scratch-off buyers.

Players are encouraged to check all tickets carefully and can visit ohiolottery.com for more information on remaining prizes and official rules.
