Police are asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects accused of robbing a victim at knifepoint in Northwest DC.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Metropolitan Police are searching for two suspects accused of robbing a person at knifepoint in Northwest DC after the crime was captured by surveillance cameras.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the robbery occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. on April 9 in the 1800 block of 14th Street, Northwest.

Investigators said two suspects approached the victim and demanded property.

When the victim refused, police allege one of the suspects displayed a knife before the pair stole the victim’s belongings and fled the area.

The suspects were captured on surveillance video and in photographs released by investigators.

Anyone who recognizes the suspects or has information about the robbery is asked to call the Metropolitan Police Department at (202) 727-9099 or text tips to 50411.

Police are offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of those responsible.

The investigation remains ongoing.
