GLEN BURNIE, Md. — Anne Arundel County Police are investigating two separate shootings that occurred within three hours of each other in Glen Burnie on Friday, both resulting in adult male victims being hospitalized.

The first incident occurred at approximately 2:50 p.m. on March 28 at the intersection of Jefferson Place and Allen Road. According to investigators, several individuals were inside a green sedan when suspects in a tan vehicle opened fire. One man inside the sedan was struck and transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Multiple suspects are believed to have fired from the tan car before fleeing the scene.

Later that evening, at around 5:50 p.m., officers responded to the 7800 block of Bruton Drive for another shooting report. There, they found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. He was also taken to a local hospital; his condition was not immediately disclosed.

Both shootings are being investigated by Northern District detectives. Police have not confirmed if the incidents are connected.
