Boston, MA On Thursday afternoon, officers assigned to District B-3 arrested Nicholas Knight, 32, of Dorchester, on various firearm offenses. At 2:30 AM, officers observed a motor vehicle speeding towards Gallivan Boulevard.

Officers activated their cruiser’s emergency lights and sirens to initiate a traffic stop. The vehicle slowed down before stopping a short distance ahead.

As officers approached, they noticed a holstered firearm in the open glove compartment. The suspect was ordered out of the vehicle and placed in handcuffs.

District Detectives responded to confirm the firearm was a Smith & Wesson SD9 VE, loaded with fourteen rounds, and determined it had been reported stolen.

Knight faces multiple charges, including carrying a firearm without a license and possession of a large capacity firearm.

He also received a citation for speeding, exceeding the posted limit.

Boston, MA Officers responded Friday morning to reports of an armed robbery at Talbot Avenue and Dorchester Avenue. Two suspects displayed a firearm and stole a victim’s backpack.

Officers quickly received a description of the suspects and initiated searches in the area. One suspect was found at Ocean Street and Roslin Street, while the second was located shortly after at 62 Roslin Street.

District Detectives were called to the scene to process the recovered evidence. A Glock 48 was discovered with seven rounds in the magazine.

Two juvenile males, aged 14 and 17, were taken into custody. The 17-year-old faces multiple charges including armed robbery, carrying a firearm without a license, and possession of ammunition without a Firearms Identification card.

The 14-year-old is charged with armed robbery. Both suspects are expected to be arraigned in Dorchester Court.

Dorchester, MA Members of the Youth Violence Strike Force arrested Keondre Barrett, 25, on firearm offenses and two outstanding warrants. Officers were conducting an investigation in the area of Mascot Street when they noticed a vehicle parking nearby.

The target of the investigation exited a building and entered the passenger seat of the vehicle. Officers followed the vehicle and observed it fail to stop at a stop sign before activating emergency lights and sirens.

Barrett was identified as the passenger and asked to exit the vehicle. As officers attempted to open the door, he closed it, but they managed to open it again and remove him. He resisted arrest and tensed his body as officers placed him in handcuffs. During a search, officers found a Glock 42 with ten rounds in the magazine.

Barrett was arrested and is set to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court. He faces charges including unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition without an FID card, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, and resisting arrest.

Barrett also had outstanding warrants from Suffolk Superior Court for unarmed robbery and from Boston Municipal Court for unlawful possession of a firearm.

Boston, MA A shooting incident occurred on Sunday morning, resulting in two individuals being injured. Police responded to Marvin Street around 10:47 AM after receiving reports of a person shot.

Officers arrived on the scene to find an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. They provided medical assistance and the victim was transported to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

While the officers were still assessing the situation, a report of a second victim emerged near 256 Dudley Street. This individual was also taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Through the investigation, detectives identified the second victim as Pernell Brown, 56, of Boston. Brown was arrested shortly after the shooting.

He is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court on multiple charges, including armed assault with intent to murder and assault with a dangerous weapon. Additional charges include carrying a firearm without a firearm identification card, possession of ammunition without a firearm identification card, and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling.

Brown also had outstanding warrants for larceny under $1,200 and making threats to commit a crime.

Boston, MA A woman is paralyzed after being struck by gunfire during a shooting intended for another target. The incident occurred on Monday afternoon as the victim left a doctor’s appointment with her boyfriend near 258 Dudley Street in Roxbury.

Shawn Walker, 24, has been arrested and charged with several offenses, including assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. The Boston Police Department confirmed his arrest on Wednesday.

The shooting took place around 4 p.m. as the couple heard multiple shots and sought cover. When police arrived at 4:10 p.m., they found the 25-year-old woman on the ground with a gunshot wound to her back.

More than 20 spent 9 mm shell casings were found at the scene, alongside damage to a nearby restaurant and vehicle. Video footage indicated that a gray Hyundai sedan was involved, parking at the intersection shortly before the shooting occurred.

Surveillance showed the shooter leaving the sedan, firing at a target in front of the restaurant, which was occupied at the time. The intended target fled into the restaurant as the shooting commenced.

Walker allegedly has significant previous convictions, including violent and drug-related crimes. He also reportedly released a music video titled “Addicted To Killing” shortly after the incident.

Another suspect, 23-year-old Devante Stinson, is facing similar charges and was arrested on October 23. Walker is currently held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing.
