The incident occurred in Silver Spring on April 20. Officers responded to the scene around 9:44 p.m., as confirmed in a social media post by the Montgomery County Department of Police.

While the investigation is ongoing, authorities clarified that the two injured individuals were not shot, but did sustain minor injuries during the incident.

Police have not released the identity of the suspect or the nature of the altercation that led to the shooting. The area was secured Sunday night, and officers remained on scene to gather evidence and interview witnesses.
