**Wilmington, DE** – The Delaware State Police, alongside the FBI Delaware Violent Crime and Safe Streets Task Force, apprehended Guy Calloway, 33, for felony gun and drug charges. The arrest followed a lengthy drug investigation in Wilmington, concluded on Monday.

On January 6, members from Delaware State Police Troop 2 Drug Unit and Special Operations Response Team executed search warrants at properties linked to Calloway on East 13th Street. Calloway, suspected of large-scale narcotics distribution, fled the scene on foot but was captured near the Brandywine River after a brief pursuit.

The searches uncovered a Taurus handgun, firearm magazines, and ammunition alongside approximately 432 grams of cocaine, 48 grams of crack cocaine, and 234 grams of marijuana. Authorities also seized around $19,928 in suspected drug proceeds and drug paraphernalia such as digital scales and packaging materials.

A computer check revealed Calloway, a convicted felon, is barred from possessing firearms or ammunition. He was taken to Troop 2 and charged with various felonies, including possession with intent to deliver controlled substances, and was held on a $163,000 cash bond

**Cumberland, MD** – The Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on Daniel Sweitzer on Thursday. The warrant was related to a theft incident reported on November 21.

The alleged victim claimed their property was stolen, and Daniel Sweitzer was identified as the suspect. Following investigations, charges were filed at the District Court of Allegany County.

Sweitzer, aged 43, from Bedford, PA, was arrested and taken to Central Booking. He appeared before a District Court Commissioner and posted a $5,000 unsecured personal bond.

The charge against Sweitzer is for theft of property valued between $100 and $1,500.

DUI Arrest Made Following Citizen Report

**Stafford, VA** – Authorities in Stafford County detained a local man for driving under the influence and possession of drugs and a firearm following a citizen’s report.

Late on Wednesday, around 11:58 p.m., Deputy P.J. Leon responded to a complaint of a drunk driver near Poplar Road and Truslow Road. The vehicle was struggling to stay within the lane. Deputy Leon located the vehicle, noted its erratic movement, and initiated a traffic stop.

The driver, identified as Keith Kerns, 40, exhibited signs of narcotics use and was found to be carrying a firearm. The deputy secured the firearm before performing field sobriety tests. Subsequent to these tests, Kerns was detained when suspected controlled substances were found in his jacket and vehicle.

Kerns faces charges for driving under the influence, possession of controlled substances, possession of a firearm while in possession of controlled substances, and failure to maintain the lane of travel. He is being held at Rappahannock Regional Jail with a $3,000 secured bond.
