Tool theft caught on camera at Stafford Harbor Freight

Deputies are searching for a man accused of walking out of a Harbor Freight store with multiple tool sets without paying.

STAFFORD, Va. — The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a man allegedly stole multiple tool sets from a Harbor Freight store in Stafford.

Deputy R. B. Lee responded to Harbor Freight, 263 Garrisonville Road, at approximately 3:45 p.m. on July 7 for a reported larceny.

According to the sheriff’s office, store employees reported that the theft occurred on July 3.

Investigators said the suspect placed several tool sets into a shopping cart before leaving the store without paying, passing all points of sale.

No arrests have been announced, and the investigation is ongoing.
