Two suspects caught on camera stealing merchandise from a Southeast D.C. store remain on the run

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Two suspects who stole merchandise from a Southeast Washington, D.C., retail establishment remain at large after fleeing the scene last month.

The theft occurred on Jan. 26 at approximately 8:45 a.m. in the Unit block of I Street SE. The suspects entered the store, took merchandise, and left without paying.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspects, and police have released photos to aid in identifying them.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Metropolitan Police Department at (202) 727-9099 or text tips to 50411. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
