Victim stabbed on Missouri Avenue in Northwest D.C., investigation ongoing

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A stabbing occurred shortly after noon Wednesday in the 1300 block of Missouri Avenue, Northwest, according to officials.

Police have confirmed that a person of interest has been stopped in connection with the incident, but no further details about the stabbing or the circumstances have been released at this time.

Authorities are continuing to investigate and have not disclosed the condition of the victim or any potential motives involved in the incident.
