Teen beaten and robbed of designer jacket and sweatshirt on Upper West Side

Manhattan, NY – A 13-year-old boy was assaulted and robbed in broad daylight on Christmas Eve while walking behind a building on West 107th Street, as police search for three suspects who fled the scene with his outerwear.

The incident occurred around 2:45 p.m. near 103 West 107th Street, in the area of the 24th Precinct. According to the NYPD, the teen was approached by three unidentified individuals who made a statement before repeatedly punching him in the face, causing visible injuries.

The suspects forcibly took the victim’s black North Face jacket and a green Bathing Ape hooded sweatshirt before fleeing the scene. The victim did not require hospitalization.

Photos of the suspects were released by NYPD Crime Stoppers, who are asking for public assistance in identifying the individuals involved.

As of Thursday, no arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
