D.A.R.E. basketball tournament a success for Clarkstown families

CLARKSTOWN, NY – The Clarkstown Police Department recently organized the DARE Basketball Tournament at Felix Festa, where more than 100 children and their families participated. The tournament was organized by Police Officer’s Kathleen Gavin and John Mullins, and all players showed great sportsmanship.

Woodglen Elementary emerged as the Girls Champions, with New City Elementary as the runners-up, while Little Tor Elementary was crowned as the Boys Champions with New City Elementary as the runners-up. The Police Department expressed their gratitude to all the parents who allowed their DARE students to participate.
