No students injured after school bus colides with SUV passing semi-tractor trailer

CHICAGO, IL – A traffic crash involving an SUV, a semi-truck, and a school bus occurred on Tuesday at around 10:16 am in the 3100 block of S. Kedzie.

The SUV, driven by an adult male, attempted to pass the semi-truck traveling in the same direction. However, the SUV veered into oncoming traffic, colliding with a northbound school bus. Fortunately, none of the nine students aboard the bus, aged 16 to 18, sustained serious injuries.

The driver of the SUV received citations for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle and Driving on a Revoked License.
