Man Wounded in Early Morning Shooting in Rochester

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A 41-year-old man is recuperating following a shooting on the city’s west side on Tuesday.

Rochester Police officers responded to reports of a shooting just before 4 a.m., finding the injured man on Masseth Street near Hague Street.

The man was taken to Strong Hospital and is expected to recover from his injuries.

No further information has been released and no suspects have been identified at this time.

Rochester Police continues its investigation into the shooting and urges anyone with information to call 911.
