One suspect arrested for 2022 murder, second remains at large

NEW YORK CITY, NY – On Friday, Curon Jackson, 24, was arrested by the New York City Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit. Jackson, a resident of Utica, was indicted by the Oneida County Grand Jury for second-degree murder in connection with the homicide of Kaeron Henderson that occurred on November 20, 2022.

Multiple agencies, including the Utica Police Department and Oneida County Sherriff’s Warrants Units, have been making public pleas for assistance to locate Jackson. In connection with the same homicide and outstanding indictment, another individual, Jamel Baker, 19, is still wanted for a second-degree murder charge.
